Privacy

Privatrol is made by Justin's Security Services Limited, New Brunswick, Canada ("we", "us"), as part of MNA Tools. This notice covers this website, privatrol.com, the Privatrol software, and the email you send us. Our privacy officer, Justin White, is responsible for how we handle your personal information; you can reach him at [email protected].

This website

The website has no forms, accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes request data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

The software

Privatrol runs on a server you control. What it collects, which is public-source information about the organisations you look at and can include the names and email addresses of people who work there, is kept in its database on your server. The analysis step sends evidence to the AI provider you configure, under your own agreement with it. We do not receive what your installation collects.

You decide what Privatrol looks at and who sees its results, so for that information you, or the organisation you work for, are responsible under the privacy laws that apply to you.

Email you send us

When you email us, we receive your address, your name if you give it, and what you write. We use it to answer you and, if you ask for an invitation to Privatrol, to provide it. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for that purpose and for our business records, and for no longer than the law requires us to keep those records. We do not sell it or use it for marketing, and we share it only with the providers that run our email, under their obligations to protect it, or where the law requires.

Please do not send us confidential documents or exports, or other people's personal information by email.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need to keep it, by writing to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
